Creelstock 7
It’s Creelstock time again on 21st August as the beautiful cliff top village of Catterline hosts its annual charity music day for the seventh time. Once again a range of bands and musicians will entertain the crowd at the Creel Inn and all in the very worthy cause of raising funds for Parkinson’s UK -www.parkinsons.org.uk - a charity which funds research into Parkinson’s and supports sufferers, a cause close to our hearts this year.
Once again the line-up features a wide range of styles from acoustic to electric and everything in between! We have Creelstock favourites Further On, one of the North East’s leading blues bands, and local heroes Richard Hannay and the 39 Steps with their irresistible songbook of tuneful covers, old and new. Also returning are the new expanded Moonshiners guaranteeing foot-tapping skiffle, early blues and bluegrass and the great Ray Moore, always a welcome name on the bill.
