We want to pack as much fun as possible into the Gala afternoon. We still need lots of help from everyone.

Ø  Here’s how you could help:

Ø  Man a sideshow for an hour (or more). We need people for the bouncy castle, coconut shy, Human Fruit Machine, Splat the Rat, Beat the Goalie, Fitness Challenge, Hook a Duck and more.

Ø  Help with a stall. People needed to sell raffle and duck tickets, run games and competitions or sell baking.

Ø  Contribute! We need donations of bottles for the bottle stall (to Phil and Debbie Murray-Mill of Uras, Catterline) and chocolate items for the chocolate tombola (to Steph Rodger, Gruinart, Catterline) and baking for the cake stall. We also plan to have a jar stall so would like contributions of clean jam jars filled with anything that would appeal to children- crayons, balloons, small toys etc. (value approx. £2 or less)  Another new stall will be a pre-loved toys lucky dip, so donations of soft toys in good condition would be welcome. Raffle prizes of all kinds will be most gratefully received.

Ø  Take part! Enter the very first Catterline Bake Off. Bring a sample of your home baking to be judged by volunteers. (For details of how to enter, contact Carys Thomas carys_1@hotmail.com .

Ø  If you have photos or memories of Galas from the past 25 years, we’d like to use them to create a display.

If you can help in any way to make this our best Gala ever, please contact Steph Rodger, steph.roj@hotmail.co.uk , Alison Brown alisondbrown@hotmail.com or Nigel King kingsatthelinns@yahoo.co.uk (Pedal Carts)

Keep checking our Facebook page for updates!

Drop off your donations of jars, bottles, soft toys and chocolate to any Gala Committee member, any time between now and Friday 12th June. Alison Brown will be at the school on Fridays at 3.15pm and will collect any donations there, too.

Baking on Friday 12th or Gala day, thank you.
