Services at St Philips
Regular services are to start again in St Philips Episcopal Church, Catterline. Eucharist will be held at 5.00pm on the second Sunday of every month, starting on the 12th July.St Philips, Catterline
St Philip's is a delightful Victorian church, set in the countryside overlooking farm fields and the village of Catterline. It is in regular use throughout the year with Eucharist being held held at 5.00pm on the second Sunday of every month, and is open daily during daylight hours for private prayer and for those who just like to sit for a while. The children from Catterline school attend the church for their Christmas and Easter celebrations and it is also available for weddings, baptisms and special occasions.
Work has begun to make this a more attractive venue: it has been made more accessible to the disabled by provision of a ramp for wheelchairs. Fundraising has begun, and it is hoped that modern toilet facilities will be available within the next year.
Rector: Rev Maggie Jackson
Assistant Priest: Rev Elizabeth Campbell
