Catterline Gala

Thanks for Gala survey Feedback

Many thanks for your valued feedback through the recent survey about your Catterline Gala. We really loved your amazing ideas and are working hard to take many of them forward for this years Gala, 14th June 2014. We are currently tendering for quotes regarding the marquee and band, which last year cost £3750, and want to keep it competitive so that the price of the tickets for the Ceilidh remains affordable for you all.  Watch this space! If anyone wishes to get involved, we would love to welcome you, we meet in The Creel Inn and the next meeting is Sunday 2nd March 8pm.

Catterline Carties Cancelled

Catterline Brae The winter storms have taken their toll up and down the coast, and Catterline is no exception. The road down to the pier has been severely damaged, with sections washed away, land slips blocking the road and subsidence threatening to collapse other sections. With no realistic prospect that the road will be repaired in time for the race in June, we are sorry to have to say that there is no option but to cancel the 2013 Catterline Cartie Challenge.

The 2014 Catterline Cartie Challenge will take place on Sunday 15th June.
