Marine re-opens on Tuesday

The Marine HotelThe Marine Hotel, which has been closed since last month when Robert Lindsay got the keys, will re-open on Tuesday 13th March. Although it won't be a big fanfare and grand re-opening, Robert has said that it "would be nice to see a few friendly faces".

The latest darts results have just been published, and with Neil showing a comfortable lead attention now turns to second place. Ian currently has a slight advantage, but Robert and Angus are still in the hunt. Full table is here.

Mah Jong at The Creel

Unravel the mysteries of the ancient Chinese game in the convivial surroundings of the Creel
Tuition and game equipment will be provided, just bring yourselves!
As there are many different versions of the game we will use "Catterline Rules" which will be straightforward for the beginner.

Darts Players Regroup After Festive Break

Catterline Darts PlayersThere was a great turn out at Wednesday's darts night with a dozen players competing for points, some showing off their Christmas pressies. Only a few stalwarts still use the kindly donated pub darts, the majority now preferring to throw their own arrows. Two matches of Aussie style Round the Clock were contested followed by an impromptu game of Shanghai which Robert won by leaving his best darts to last and cleaning up the cash.
