Creelstock 5

Jul 27 2014 - 3:00pm
Jul 27 2014 - 11:30pm

Creelstock 5This year’s Creelstock music day is taking place at the Creel Inn on Sunday 27th July with music and fun from 3pm. Now a fixture in Catterline’s events calendar, fundraising this year is for The Archie Foundation which supports Aberdeen Children’s Hospital and children’s health services in North East and North Scotland.

This year’s line–up features The Moonshiners with Dick Wardell, one of the UK’s finest acoustic blues guitarists, and Ken Muir on saxes, clarinet, harmonica and tin whistle delivering their irresistible mix of country blues, skiffle, bluegrass and early rock. Also on the bill are Disorganised Criminals, a local band with former members of No Hot Ashes playing their distinctive blend of classic rock and blues, Catterline’s own favourites Richard Hannay and the Thirty Nine Steps with their usual melodic mix to set the feet tapping and Rogues Gallery, up and coming rockers from Aberdeen. There will also be with the usual mix of home grown talent – a cast of thousands indeed!
