Catterline Christmas Tree Festival 2015

xmas trees

A Christmas Tree Festival will be held once again this year in St Phillip’s Church, Catterline. We invite individuals, families or community groups to take part by sponsoring and decorating a tree. The cost is £30 for a tree, which will be yours to keep once the festival is over. The trees will be container grown, with roots. (Last year’s trees are growing and flourishing in people’s gardens).

Trees can be decorated in any way you choose, preferably keeping to a Christmassy theme. This leaves plenty of scope for imagination and there is a lot of inspiration on the internet, if you are stuck for ideas.

The Christmas Tree Festival will be open for anyone to come and view the decorated trees between Saturday 12th and Sunday 20th December. A carol service will be held in St Philip’s Church on Sunday 20th December, to conclude the Festival.
