I think it might be just you... 
I've not noticed any great improvement - things just seem to be chugging along quite nicely. Who is your ISP and what speeds are you getting?

| About 2.4 MB download with BT, which is about double what it was about 12 months ago. Given that we are about 3km from the exchange I think thats pretty good. |
