I am trying to get some ideas for William's 3rd birthday party in February. Any suggestions as to places to go or local entertainers that would be able to cope with a room full of under 5's would be much appreciated!

Hugo (assuming you might be our next door neighbour over the wall at Cotbank here...)

local to Catterline there arent too many little kid things as such

but there are a few magician type guys around that do a great show for about 75 - 100 quid for an hour or so. We have some contacts there through the gala and similar.

Dizzy Rascals play centre in Laurencekirk is a favourite place for a lot of folks though we've been there far too many times.

You can hire the Kinneff Hall for about 10 an hour or so and put on your own thing but it's a bit big and old so a bit of work is required.

You can hire out the Bervie leisure centre hall along with bouncy castle and soft play kit for a reasonable price too.

The rest is Aberdeen or a bit more obscure..... but give us a shout and we can maybe give some ideas depending what you are after.

Tom

Thanks so much - yes it is us (we'll actually this is Sarah responding now not Hugo).

Would you mind if I knock on your door this weekend to get the names of the entertainers?

No problem Sarah any time you like Roz will know a bit too.

I have a friend who does a fantastic kids magic party but i suspect he may be a bit expensive now as he went fulltime corporate. We hired a great magician for the gala last year who seemed to be reasonable and did good kids stuff. There's also a newish puppeteer style person with connections to the village who might be of use.
