So - you've all seen the entries (here) - so who is going to win?

The course this year will favour carties (and drivers) that can carry speed around a tight corner. Tequilla Slammer, Bandit, Auld Alliance and Once a Fortnight are going to be hard to beat, and newcomers Flying Ferret and Barras Phoenix should do well. All the rest are either too heavy or too high to be able to handle Jimmies.

My tip for the podium places are;

1) Once a fortnight
2) Bandit
3) Slammer

Well two out of three ain't bad. I got slammer and bandit, but didn't expect elijah to cope with the course so well.

I didn't make it this year! Rolling Eyes

Ain't there a song "Two out of three ain't bad"? Very Happy

Is there any more races on this year I might make it too?

Shame you missed it, but fortunately there will be at least two more this year.

There's the Stonehaven Carties (SCARE) on Sunday September 9th at 1:00 pm in Mineralwell Park, and the Monymusk Cairtie Race on the following weekend.
