The monotremes are an order of mammals that lay eggs. The only surviving examples of this order are the Echidna and the Platypus.

Silicon dioxide, also known as silica, is a chemical compound. It occurs naturally in several forms including quartz and opal. Sand, on the other hand, is a naturally occurring, finely divided rock, comprising particles or granules ranging in size from 0.0625 (or 1/16) to 2 millimeters. Although most sands are made predominantly of grains of Silicon dioxide, it is not the mineralogical composition that defines them as sands but the size of the grains. Sands can also be made of limestone, feldspar, magnetite, chlorite, glauconite or gypsum.

Sorry - just needed to get that off my chest.

Or possibly just the more mysterious and Zoolander-esque "Monotreme Quartz".

We would of course need a catwalk to strut into the creel under floodlights and pulsing synth music but hey it would be worth it.....

No apologies to those of you who havent seen Zoolander... unavoidable in my case living in a house full of teenagers or budding ones ! I can loan a copy to anyone who wants to research the context.

A new look for the next quiz - I like it!

Might be a problem getting in though, what with having to turn left to get in to the bar...

Guys? I know you lost the quiz and Tommy, I know you were rather confident on winning!

But don't be disheatened, just do a Derek Zoolander and go back to being "really really really ridiculously good looking" for a living and keep turning out those "Blue Steel" looks! Very Happy

Just don't have a frapaccino fight at a petrol station please, the community would miss you both! Razz

Tommy, I was made aware of Byron's refereeing performance and I have to say what ever happened to the home whistler? I thought it was part and parcel of Catkins football? Shockin'! I feel revenge for you will be sweet.
