A new competition for the gala; to honour our visiting vikings, all primary school age children are asked to make a viking from vegetables. Bring your creation along to the gala to display it, and the best will get a prize!

OK people - sorry about this but I got the entry rules a bit wrong. But don't worry - it's good news !

The competition is not limited to primary school age kids. It's a family competition, and anyone can take part. The only rules are that your entry had to be made netirely from vegetables. And fruit, obviously (e.g. tomotoes). And cocktail sticks to hold it together if needed.

But no bits of paper, card, etc, OK?

It needs to look vikingy and it needs to be made from vegetables.
